Who am I and where do I fit in?
“I’m not a kid, but I’m not an adult, I’m not the same as my friends but my family doesn’t understand me…. how can I do anything if I don’t know who I am?”
It’s hard enough trying to figure out who they are.
Then there are external pressures that make matters even more challenging.
The ever-present social audience on social media, competing for the best grades so you can get into the “best” school, fears of being ‘canceled,’ and thinness as the central objective.
But teens are curious, they’re passionate, they’re sassy, and they’re fighters!
Under supportive and encouraging conditions, they can step into greatness.
Teens can find healing through therapy.
I help teens struggling with painful insecurities and who have difficulty managing intense emotions throughout the day.
Using a therapeutic inquiry process in a supportive space, we get to the root of these insecurities.
With insight from therapy, teens become more aware of their feelings and are better equipped to manage stress and difficulty without relying on negative patterns.
Teens will learn how to regulate their feelings effectively so they can navigate life’s challenges and traverse the teenage years with more joy, fun, and freedom.
The teen years are hard and especially complicated.
