About Therapy
Therapy is an exciting opportunity to explore and get better acquainted with yourself. We will closely examine your thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns – in all their meaning and complexity. We will examine how you feel conflicted (and might not even know it!). Unconscious aspects of your being will naturally emerge, giving you a fuller picture of who you are.
My Background
I am an integrative-psychodynamic psychotherapist. I am licensed in NJ, NY and CT and conduct virtual sessions in all three states. I hold a PhD and Master’s Degree from Yeshiva University and have completed more than six years of post-graduate clinical and psychoanalytic training at various institutes in NY. I have training in different modalities including CBT, IFS and somatic work and use these approaches together with my psychodynamic orientation.
I use a collaborative approach to help you explore your internal life more deeply. I bring who I am as a person and all of my experience to the table to help you embrace yourself as an imperfect human so you can appreciate (or at least better tolerate) the messy, the flawed, the uncertain, the VULNERABLE. Life’s issues don’t ever really vanish, but we can learn to live with greater awareness and fortitude.

Insurance Questions
I am an out-of-network provider for most insurance companies. I will provide you with a superbill at the end of each month so that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Once a deductible is met, many insurance companies reimburse between 60 and 80% of the cost of sessions.
Every plan is different, so I would encourage you to call your insurance company to find out more about what they cover for psychotherapy services.
Good questions to ask your insurance company
- What are my out of network benefits?
- What is my deductible?
- What percentage of the fee does my insurance reimburse once my deductible is met? (The code for psychotherapy services is 90834)
We can of course discuss any questions you have about how out-of-network therapy works, as I strive to make the process as easy and clear as possible.
